"When will the (final) Hour be?"
The Prophet ﷺ said, "What have you prepared for it?"
The man said, "Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Messenger ﷺ."
The Prophet ﷺ said, "You will be with whom you love."

What is the importance of being buried by the Shaykh?

B'ism Allah... Alhamdulillah, from the teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi (QS), the significance of being buried by one's Shaykh in Sufi practices and beliefs is deeply rooted in the spiritual connection and guidance that the Shaykh provides to the murid (seeker). The act of being buried by the Shaykh symbolizes the continuation of the spiritual bond and guidance even after the physical passing of the Shaykh.

In Sufi traditions, the burial by the Shaykh is seen as a means of spiritual protection and elevation for the murid. It signifies the continuation of the Shaykh's spiritual guidance and blessings, even in the afterlife. The Shaykh's presence during the burial process is believed to spiritually assist the murid in their journey towards the Divine Presence.

Furthermore, being buried by the Shaykh is a reflection of the deep spiritual connection and trust that the murid has in their Shaykh. It represents the murid's submission and dedication to the spiritual path laid out by the Shaykh, and the belief that the Shaykh's guidance extends beyond the physical realm.

Ultimately, the act of being buried by the Shaykh is a profound expression of the murid's commitment to the spiritual teachings and guidance of the Shaykh, and the belief in the ongoing spiritual support and blessings from the Shaykh even after their physical departure.
