Build Masjid for Zikrullah (Allah’s Remembrance)
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Bukhari]
An ‘Umar ibn al Khattab (as) qala: Sami’tu Rasulallahi ﷺ yaqulu: "Man banaa masjidan yuzkaru fihi Ismullahi, banaa Allahu lahu baytan fil Jannah."

📖 Qur’an Verses Reflecting the Spirit of Tree Planting
While the Qur’an does not mention “planting trees” directly as a command, it emphasizes greenery, gardens, and nature as signs of Allah’s mercy and a source of contemplation:
1. Surah Ya-Sin (36:33)
“And a sign for them is the dead earth. We give it life and We bring forth from it grain so that they eat from it.”
2. Surah An-Nahl (16:11)
“With it He causes crops to grow for you, and the olive tree, the date palm, the grapevine, and all kinds of fruits. Surely in this is a sign for people who reflect.”
3. Surah Ar-Rahman (55:10-13)
“And the earth He laid out for all creatures. In it are fruits and date palms with sheaths, and grain with husk, and fragrant plants. So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?”

🌿 Dedication of a Tree (Islamic Perspective)
Planting a tree in someone’s name (living or deceased) is a form of sadaqah jariyah—a continuing charity:
• You may dedicate the tree with the intention (niyyah) that the reward goes to someone specific (e.g., your parents, a loved one, or even the Prophet ﷺ).
• You can say:
“O Allah, I dedicate the reward of this tree to [Name], may it be a source of ongoing reward for them.”
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (continuing charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him” [Muslim]
Who is he that will Loan to Allah a beautiful loan, which Allah will double unto his credit and multiply many times? It is Allah that giveth (you) Want or plenty, and to Him shall be your return.
